Sign-ups and unsubscribes
Section titled “Sign-ups and unsubscribes”- Sign-up with double opt-in (form + confirmation email click, a GDPR requirement). Unconfirmed addresses receive nothing.
- An unsubscribe link in every newsletter email; the page it opens asks to confirm with a button (mail scanners open links on their own, and a mere visit must not unsubscribe anyone).
The list belongs to the municipality
Section titled “The list belongs to the municipality”Check subscribers and their status under Subscribers. The list is owned by the town hall: if you leave EnaPost, we return it to you. You can also download it as CSV at any time from Subscriptors → Exporta en CSV (the dashboard is in Catalan).
Which language it arrives in
Section titled “Which language it arrives in”The newsletter arrives in the language the resident chose when the post has a translation; otherwise in the original language.
Sending domain
Section titled “Sending domain”Today newsletters are sent from an EnaPost address.
Coming soon: sending from the town’s own address (newsletter@yourtown.cat), verifying the domain with SPF/DKIM records in the municipal DNS.
Proof of send
Section titled “Proof of send”Every email (newsletters and confirmations) is stored in the Email log: recipient, subject, content and date.
